I am probably the most skeptical person around. When I see a sales trainer, a motivational speaker , a new book that's out claiming to be an expert I am thinking - "Yea right " . What make s that person so good? , to be an expert , what are their credentials? , what's their background? , where have they come from? , who did they mentor with? , how did they get their talent in the industry ? maybe your like me , a lot of confidence and a big ego since you've had some success and positive experiences in your life . I'm also the type of person that never ends 'learning new things' As one of my mentors, Mr Tony Robbins would say a CANI attitude , 'constant and never ending improvement' . New Business Development King, the grandmaster flash who's going to show you how to make a lot of cash ( I did an entire rap song on this , don't ask ) . I don't know who said this but Yogi Bera the baseball great said it best " It ain't bragging if you can do it " and we CAN .

As You'll read through my bio I have coached , trained and hired over 3,500 sales and telesales people , From stiff collar , dubious , skeptical engineers to high tech , programmers computer developer propeller heads to go from fear-full to fearless in prospecting and cold -calling for new business opportunities . I have coached , trained and hand held expert sales people that were making $350,000 per year to I.T. people to enjoy , to be more effective and love cold calling for new business . I have worked with hundreds of Telesales people in Florida and Atlantic City , that were wearing electronic bracelets since they were fresh out of
prison , to be smooth and polished on the phone and not beat
me up .

I have worked with 4 different Dale Carnegie Training branches in
Vancouver , Calgary, Toronto and Seattle . My assignment was to
coach , teach and train the sales trainers how to be more effective over the phone qualifying new prospects , arranging meetings with high level decision makers ( a nice kudos training sales trainers) As Katey puts it "Murray takes the ice cubes out of cold calling for new business and filling up the sales pipeline" . Further, I have worked extensively with Anthony Robbins International setting up their Vancouver operations , hiring and training all of the telesales people and program facilitators , getting more corporate business .

My best accomplishment is that I have a solid relationship with my wife Lysa and raised 2 kids , Sarah who is 20 years old and my son Nathan who is 6 years old which is the most rewarding and challenging task of life .

I was born at a young age (ha , ha ) .By grade 9, I was quite the hot Whistler local and Free-style skier entering and winning free-style moguls and aerial contests. At the end of grade 9 , daddy moved the family to Los Angeles , a place called Palos Verdes , which is right on the water near Redondo Beach , Hermosa , Manhattan , Newport
Beach , Huntington beach , it was a very wealthy , rich area and the high school very clique' y . So in less than 1 week at the end of grade 9, I go from Hero to Zero. Stuck in this school of jocks, surf stars and snobby Richy Rich's, I have no friends, no clout, no pull and have to make it happen . So , how do I get in with the in crowd , get invited to all of the parties and get introduced to all of the girls…. Big dilemma . Skiing was the answer , I joined the ski club and soon I was the president of the ski club since I was the best and hottest skier in the school . By the end of grade 11 , going into grade 12 , I was arranging all of the ski club trips , I was in with all of the best surfers in the school, all of the jocks loved me, the surf stars took me out to where the waves were and coached and showed me how to surf , got the invites to all of the parties and met the right girls . I had fantastic time growing up there . The only challenge was that I was going to inherit daddy's business and just be the heir to the fortune ( that's what good Jewish boys do ) so getting good grades and writing a killer LSAT was not in the cards for me .

"Poof' dads business vaporized , the parents got divorced , I totally blew high school and after being a waiter for 2 years I said ' What am I going to do with my life " . When you can't become a doctor , lawyer or dentist what is the next best bet - SALES
